Greyscale is where I live.

Back at it, this time focusing on the lighting and shading adding details in greyscale and seeing if I can’t breathe colors into it later

Ai doesn’t know how to do this as it’s a skill an artist picks up through study and practice
If I pop it in greyscale, notice the lightest values are at the focus, this makes your eyes naturally drawn towards it! Ai doesn’t have any way of checking it which is why they feel off!

Here it is! A most beloved commission from a most beloved artist, the one and only @/50Kig4eV11hWSZr. I really can’t thank and compliment them enough for this piece of Greyson alongside their Sona. I truly wish them all the best in their life and artistic journey.

I never know what to do with greyscale paintings so i slapped a gradient map nd call it a day.
Anyway i'm really happy with this. time to keep trying to paint more mindfully about light and shadow

sometimes i prefer the look of the quick greyscale shadings i do, they just feel right?
fits the "i didnt waste too much time on it, it's wonky but good enough"

Scunthorpe. with glazes and pastels plus a bonus on brown paper. Take the M180 to the coast and you will see the flattened greys and weird industry of The Humber shoreline. No one comes out intact.

Day 15, doctor
I was gonna go with a neurosurgeon, but there were no scenes of Dr. Shepherd doing brain stuff in greys anatomy recently, so you get this wannabe surgeon who probably, definitely has, watched greys and think he’s a surgeon
