I'm honestly happy with how my health is going, around June I was 353 Pounds and I hate myself. Now I am 308 Pounds with a PLATEAU I am fixing and I don't hate myself as much while being surrounded by people that actually do care and not get so caught up with myself

@Itay20052 That’s generally how I saw it too. But I say the anime leaned more into Shiggy being stronger because in the manga he says after the Delaware Smash that if an attack like that landed, he might not bounce back, but (at least in the subs I had) he’s says he’d just suffer damage.

@JionArt It was like that in the manga too, before the beginning of the next chapter confirmed it was Shiggy who cut it voluntarily. Tho like I said Shiggy implies that Deku was probably capable of slicing it off with BW. Kinda to show Deku’s power, but also Shiggy’s own intelligence.
