I have done one of Sonic's Unused 'Calling Tails' Sprites from Sonic 3 as a Sonic 2 styled Sprite.
There's even Unused Level Up Renders for Mio, Taion and Sena in their Military Uniforms. I'm guessing there was going to be a camp somewhere before getting to Noah and the others. (2/2)
So apparently there's unused Mwamba Images found for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 which includes his Level Up Render, Hero Icon, and Chain Attack Render. Something tells me he was going to stay in the Party a little longer or become a potential Hero Later on. (1/2)

@Greenfakeloogi The first image is unused, but it's in the files. Luigi was supposedly going to appear in the audience with his Poltergust occasionally.
The SPM one isn't a direct reference, but you fight Boos in a foyer similar to the one from Luigi's Mansion, so it was at least based on it.

Unfortunately, I ended up losing momentum to continue that version of ASD and so those anims ended up unused. I tried again with ASD's third iteration, giving Claire a slight redesign, but she never got to show up in any form before I cancelled that attempt too.
