I really like it in art when blood isn't quite the color it's supposed to be (unless it's dark green, that shit looks gross). For example, the blood from Slayer's Bite in Guilty Gear Xrd is super orange and I kind of love it, it gives it its own flavor

I'm still wondering what happened to poor Faust between Xrd and Strive my man looks malnourished and somehow grew gangly salad fingers. I got no beef with it I'm just wondering what happened to lead to such a drastic change.
I was complaining in a GG discord a little while ago about how grabs were too complicated and just felt terrible to do in Xrd and got told "You'll have to learn eventually."
And then grabs are just hold direction + press dust in Strive.
Ain't gonna learn shit motherfucker.
The Blazblue vs Guilty Gear debate is stupid. Without Guilt Gear, Blazblue may have never existed, but without Blazblue, Guilty Gear might have never gotten it's comeback with Xrd again. Both are heavily inspired by each other and both Mori and Daisuke respect their philosophies.
@MakinaKid oh I agree, it's still just as much of a monster as it was in xrd, but it's no longer the funny win-neutral spacing button like it used to be. doesn't really do faust any favors that many of his best buttons are like this now
