The only one of her designs that gives me those vibes is this one.
I feel you really just have to make the face have more differences from Pac-Man's (smaller nose and mouth, round eyebrows as opposed to triangular ones, etc.) to avoid her design coming off that way.

Ok so first about color and design, one thing I feel draws me towards what I want in my sona is the color design of black/off grey with teal/orange/dark teal encompassing it. I also notice something that draws me in a lot is big angular shapes and pseudo eyes.
