In this example, the skin is warm pink and yellow hair. Pink and yellow here are warm colours.

Green in other hand is cool colour. Not only that, green is complement colour of red (pink) too: it makes eyes extra pop out!

Little insight into my process, starting from a basic sketch and finishing with flat colours.

I tend to start off with a thick pen/brush and start sketching basic shapes and lines, refine the sketch even further, lock in the details with line art and finally adding colour.
