Today I made a sketch of Yorick, an OC of various Anima Beyond Fantasy games that I direct.

This character is a rather clumsy "archaeologist" apparently, but nothing is further from the truth.

In the background you can see a special armor that he uses in combat.

There actually are subtle but noticeable differences in how Impa and Paya are designed.

Longer hair, different sized face paint, different sleeves and leggings, Impa definitely looks more like she’s equipped for combat.

But now I've been checking out "The Settlers." Which is an excellent wee medieval Sim City-ish game, with more of a focus on roads, mines, and a little combat. The DOS version, though lacking the music I love, has used the extra colours and resolution well. (Amiga then DOS pics.)
