Second post of the day. I am applying some of the layering techniques I have been developing in my faces to abstract landscapes. I love the translucent layers. It really helps to see the layers when I photograph and edit them.

Just some updates for the Chun x Lana set; this is painstaking to do with scanned lineart b/c even the white of paper is treated as pixel and layer settings will darken them when layering for effect. But that is only small price to pay.

Here are some artifacts from making my friend's tree ring wedding gift. The horizontal layering was me figuring out how best to visually handle the frequency spectrum chunks. The original vision was for the rings but I almost gave up and went with the stacks.
