I really, really loved THE SPRITE AND THE GARDENER. It’s an endearing, sweet graphic novella about the wonders of nature, coexistence, and collaboration, with endlessly charming writing and absolutely stunning art. I cannot recommend it enough.

21. The Empress of Salt and Fortune. i’ve been meaning to get to this for what feels like ages so i borrowed the audiobook on a whim. i enjoyed it immensely, especially how it used objects. by the end i felt that i had read a huge, sprawling epic rather than a novella.
