Hi, call me Duck. I draw cartoon style stuff and write. I'm working on a webnovel on Royal road. Here's a link:

Holly here-- I write and draw things from what I write. 💙💜❤

I made an edit of unmasked Adam based on Caboose Mcgrief's comic of 's Adam rewrite. The eyebrows and the center scar was a bit tricky to make but it's finally done!

1. My oldest OC is Emerald. In every version of This Crown of Mine that I've made since I was little, Emerald was the only character to be present in all of them. She's gone through mannyyy design changes over the years and she was one of the hardest characters to write.

Stuff like this for instance.
Fast to write. Infinity less fast to draw 😅
Having said that, some of my stories are best told in a visual medium, least we wade through mass info dumps.

I was a writer before I was an artist. Wrote songs when there was a passionate soul right next to me, who played the guitar & had a head full of melodies. Here's part of an old song I had forgotten & am trying to finish - just words, of course, since all I do is write.

My full rewrite of Killtopia: Volume begins tomorrow. It’s going to shift focus to Stiletto, her backstory and the fallout from the second book’s cancel-culture that has hurt her Mech-hunting career.

She’s fast becoming my favourite character to write.

15. Glade and Dylan have always been hard for me to draw. I really like their designs but Glade’s shoes and Dylan’s entire head is just really hard haha. Veda and Ari are difficult to write. Aris personality is a bit confusing and Veda I’m trying to make different from other Ocs

Me Everyday: Wondering why no one has given another book to write. 🤔

An OC that's difficult to draw/write... usually, this happens when I haven't yet discovered their voice, and they'll become easier for me to write as I go. The lead characters of one story I've nicknamed 'Spacedragons' have been stubborn, but I'm sure they'll come when it's time.

Some personal favs since getting my iPad! The snake foo-cat is from a comic idea I’m revising. The mouse is trying to take down an elephant, from a novel I want to write. My boy Muzzless from my 2015 comic that I’m restarting, cosplaying a chain chomp. And some BOTW fanart!🖤

22. an OC you didn't expect to love

Ben

he was only supposed to appear in chapter 1 and even when i first decided to bring him back for george's catharsis, i didn't super love him. i didn't realize until the xmas party scene that he'd grown on me and become fun to write.

For my comic:
Shepard.
The combination of the inherited wit if his mothers & his personal loathing for nearly every solitary individual in existence, makes for one very dry & sacrastic recluse.

He’s a pleasure to write.

Was exhausted today so didn’t write. Had tons of manga chapter edits to go through. And had an absolutely awesome time editing 3 chapters together with my bro and mom! We were brainstorming and laughing throughout ☺️💗
Goodnight everyone!

Hey ^^ Here's some of my art! I usually draw SFW stuff, rarely NSFW too though but really, maybe 2-3 drawings in a month and marked as sensible. I want to make comics in the future and visualize the fanstories I write. The first picture belongs to one of those actually! ^^

Thanks for making this thread, greatly appreciated!

I'm Carlos and I draw original characters (some fanart too) and write. Been trying to get back to drawing comics in recent times so I can adapt some of my stories and it's been a slow, but steady, process.

Thanks for the art share!

I'm JL, and in addition to making art I also write. I just hit 20k words in my current manuscript!

This is my current WIP, in multiple stages, of one of the NPCs in a D&D campaign I'm running.

Alright, it took about four hours, but I got 4.5k written. I'm still moving slow, but it's getting easier to write.

Let's see.... how about a Reevesbane collage? Rybalt, Iony, Ninox, and Boomer the Ground Parrot.

Now for some lunch and exercise. <3

I love Red Death. Her story is a blast, but the backstory that we added are some of the most fun scenes to write. In this 1st glimpse, I was in Chicago staring at an unfinished building and daydreaming about how fun a fight between two killers would be to write.
