The game featured gorgeous cutscenes by the same team that did the cutscenes for Xenogears. And the 3D character models didn't have faces, but the in-game pixel portraits are just *🤌MMMMWWWWA!*

"The Xenogears Comic Anthology," and "Xenogears 4Koma Comic" are 2 graphic novels released in 1998. They both contain many short stories that take place during and after the events of the game. I love that there's tons of character interaction; something the game lacks a bit.

Poppi QTπ has an alternate costume accessible in Xenoblade 2's Challenge Mode that looks a bit like Emeralda Kasim from Xenogears. Not only that, but the costume is called "Nano Orange," which could be a reference to the fact that Emerelda is a colony of Nanomachines.
