kinda feels like they designed these characters with previous reference in mind (how characters look in all previous games) and then the art direction not just went the other way but also didn't bother recreating things like what colors the reflections should be.

Playing Monhun stories 2 made me wanna redesign a lot of monsters with different specific realistic design conventions. So have a Velocidrome and Velociprey. A common monster for new hunters to be assigned to deal with when they become a nuisance (which they do regularly)
