this was very hard to do bc my thumbnails are very small and vague BDKFJDKFJF i only use them to get the composition of all the panels down to make sure they flow together and i dont flip the charas on accident
@leclypsea yeah I like to figure out general colors before doing rendering, because they're just such a big part of mood and composition in my mind?? in this one the bright color glory is all on color correction lvls, so having it all figured out was really cool! here's the pic without them

Sketches vs painting! This is typical of my work - a concept sketch to help nail down color palettes, a working sketch reflecting composition/pose changes if needed, then the final from there.
i also like these compositionally and color wise.... i think they are just like.... cool

Their character was a challenge to draw for me but I learned a lot along the way. This composition is based off the Four of Wands, though is most applicable to the character reversed.
