Some more comparison from my old cringe art from a year ago. Lines were hella thick, coloring and lighting was flat and anatomy was a bit chunky.

what is fascinating about your portraits is that you capture the tiny movements, the mimic is perfect here, around the eyes, the mouth.
This comes definitely from watching that face move.

@p0nyplanet I'm a teen who likes drawing but can hardly find the time and motivation because of school. Planning on taking a gap year so I can focus entirely on improving on art, before going to college. Anatomy is hard but a lot of fun. The first two images are still WIPs.
