@bunnalien Oh my god, this. I made an OC out of bodyhorror brainworms last winter as a no judgement sandbox, and I can't tell you how much I've improved just from drawing him over and over again. The best lesson was to not be so judgemental and just enjoy the ride

i do think the most solid art advice is to latch on and become obsessed with a character/ship so intensely that they r all you draw. you improve so much. it’s cool u can can see my artistic evolution with xiaoven. these are from a good 1-2 yrs ago…i wonder how i’ve improved now.

I honestly wonder if anyone even remembers these old sprites I did when I was still really into sonic spriting. These old sheets were definitely fun to make, but man they've definitely aged to me. Guess it shows how much I've improved ever since making these sheets lol
