Full art Greninja piece for the Updated Pokerap!
I wanted to feature both of Greninja's forms, in a city atmosphere at night. Detective Pikachu wasn't an influence in composition (but some people get reminded of it that way) however I did take huge inspiration in the colors!
Btw, this was the bald aether sketch in question; this however is abandoned because it didn't hit the direction I wanted it to be. As of current I have a much better composition lol. Hopefully I can get it done in mid March.. *sweats*

Cleaning up my computer this morning & found some GAN results from last spring. I was experimenting creating Blender 3D still life compositions and then making them painterly with a GAN. 2 different results on the same 3D composition.

Aiming to do more singular beats rather than a full/mini sequence to focus on my composition skills!
Sometimes we do the process backwards (aka thinking composition AFTER the character’s done) and that’s.... kinda ok 😂

@JamesDownsII @VwTiny I really love the composition of the piece and the lineart is really strong. That said, I think that the shading might be a bit over blended. using my old art as an example for comparison, I find that having overall sharper shading tends to look a bit more refined

Known for his historical art Stanley meltzoff (1917-2006) is one of my favorite artists when it comes to depictions of marine wildlife. His art is full of energy, color and unique compositions that is usually lacking in art of fish and is a breath of fresh air.
