Also don't be afraid to practice by tracing or just overlaying images, it's not cheating.

Even using pictures of your own work or outlines is super handy.

It really helps you to get used to digital drawing and blending techniques.

this is why i have a color reference when i draw! i also overlay one color over all my palette so you can still tell it’s darker even if the lighting makes the color palette look lighter
