A few years ago i was really into a fandom au called Rise of the brave tangles dragons, a crossover between HTTYD, Rise of the guardians, Brave and Tangles! Recently ive been whatching vids of it and i decided to draw Jack frost! Kinda wanna draw Hiccup, Merida and Rapunzel too

I learned that these lines aren't just little crosshatch areas to show the eye is more recessed on the inside.

It is. And they do.

But! They also follow the rhythm of the orbit. Which is the bottom of the eye socket. It sounds obvious, but I had an "aha!" moment.
