I will forever be grateful about learning values, StarDust does look cute but she is totally lacking in depth compared to my recent art piece. I love that for as long as I have been doing art I'm still learning how to refine my technique each time I make a new piece. 💜
This is such a nice hashtag! It took me a long time to get where I am and I'm still learning, but I do love painting angsty animals. #SkillNotTalent
Saw this floating around and wanted to join in~

Back then, I almost quit. There's no "secret" to improving, and perfection is an illusion. You just have to keep going and inject love into what you do. We never stop learning.

It was 2016 when i start my adventure with digital painting... and after this 6 years im still learning... wish me good luck 😪🖐

#SkillNotTalent #HumanArtist - Pic on the left is from 2007. I've been around for some time. I saw the rising stars and I did pay the price for doing (almost) everything you shouldn't do when learning. But hey, I'm still here and kicking.
@fairypaeonia congrats on 1k!!
my artgoal for 2023 is to get serious in learning perspective and anatomy~

Always. Learning.
( 2010 - 2014 - 2019 - 2022)

I decided to start drawing in 2016 when I was 19 years old, and now I'm here. No art school, no mentors, only practice. I think it's ironic that Dark Souls inspired me to start learning.

2020 Dec vs 2022 Dec
Not much to say expect I learn n practice during my free time. One can improve a lot when they find the suitable way in the journey of learning something new.
@bromojumbo Gotta be Dragapult for me. They crammed so much into this design that it just pleases my inner paleo nerd. Learning that the tail is ghost-like because they never found the tail for the animal it’s based on is so cool! Also it’s a stealth bomber that YEETS babies. BABY YEETER!
2019 vs 2022

I remember that I was so proud how I paint the lighting in the old illustration. But I'm still learning it.
#SkillNotTalent
I think I started drawing since young age, no clean wall or book that save from my doodles and learned many things along the way and even now I'm still learning nonstop. This is my first digital art (2003) and my digital art now (2022)
2003. 2022

2010 vs 2022
I couldn't find anything from 2012 because I stopped painting in 2011. After 4 years I returned to painting and since then I've been working, learning and making progress each time I picked up a pencil.
<- 2007 // 2022 ->
I think the real beauty of art is constantly learning not only the craft, but yourself as a person.
