if there's one thing i can understand with that argument, it's the environmental design

the original crash games were very rich with texture, everything looked rough and gritty, while crash 4 has a lighter, more whimsical look with heavier use of solid colours

fans were introduced to the remake of 14 years ago! There's no shortage of challenges in this dungeon crawler and some rogue-like features were also present. Baroque wasn't groundbreaking but it's a solid entry in this genre.
