My sketches are always super messy and vague xD I usually do multiple thumbnails

A part of the process I've come to love: color thumbnails. Going with the 1st one.

sketch vs final... I lineart directly over my doodoo sketches. And my sketches are also my thumbnails, and I make the word bubbles in the thumbnails stage.... anything to save time honestly.... gotta survive webcomicking somehow lol

thumbnail vs finished page
this was very hard to do bc my thumbnails are very small and vague BDKFJDKFJF i only use them to get the composition of all the panels down to make sure they flow together and i dont flip the charas on accident

I also take the opportunity to hop on this trend.

16) Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (8/10)

absolutely fantastic adaptation, nails the artstyle incredibly well and knows exactly how to transfer the feel of the manga through less active soundtracks and more ambience sounds and silence

here's some more Alpha-san cause I love her

I have a severe weakness to the "Older experienced dude/gal that's jaded but learns to open up." They don't necessarily have to act Jaded either, because on the inside they are regardless.
Tough as nails, but can only do so much on their own.
Some good examples:

OH also here’s some Genshin thumbnails and a lighting practice! Went way to harsh on the lanterns so next week I’m going to do a few lighting studies with them 😄 gonna participate in the Sea of Lights contest by miHoYo!
