R.I.P. Kentaro Miura, I didn't expect to wake up to his passing. But there's not much you can really do, we can however appreciate the mans astounding work on Berserk and its amazing story telling and artwork. His work inspired and influenced so much. Thank you Kentaro.

I adore absolutely everything about the story, but to me the spirit of Berserk is very much encapsulated in those moments of respite, silence and reflection. In those moments it feels like Miura is speaking directly to us, pouring his soul out.

It wasn't until this morning when it was brought up that I realised Berserk has been in my life since I was 12. I've been following it for almost 18 years.

Even in it's unfinished state I highly recommend everybody read it and enjoy a dark fantasy epic. It's worth every moment.

His literature was one of a kind, Berserk is and will continue to be a masterpiece.
