This pic is legit stunning.... Would have been in awe to see this level of scale and adventure in a serious tone

Let's see... My ideal action JRPG would have the:

— gameplay of 'Kingdom Hearts'
— environments of 'Xenoblade Chronicles'
— side missions of 'Yakuza'
— tone of 'Skies of Arcadia'

However, each would need significant changes in their own ways.

The colorism in this picrew jumped out but it’s whatever — this was the best I can do. Just wish he could be my ACTUAL skin tone. Le sigh. https://t.co/W5qoNBRG3d

May I present how art process & materials impact content?

Käthe Kollwitz, Woman w/ dead child (1903)

2. Soft-ground etching
3. Etching w/ engraving overprinted lithographically w/ gold tone plate

Touchup of an older piece. I was really averse to using pure blacks at the time, but reintroducing them allows for much better total variation. Some lighting issues remain ,but I didn’t want to mess with the tone of the piece.

Also cleaned up some more distracting sketch lines

I still maintain that the Mag'har should have an additional skin tone closer to the Shattered Hand creature models or Kargath Bladefist. While at it, a more experimental feature they could give to them is to replace their hand. Could of course be used with any skin tone.

‘Bobby’s World’, a cartoon developed by , has an unreleased Game Boy game via It appears to be quite different in tone than the also unreleased SNES prototype.

she would’ve been 1000000000x better if they had actually made her black.. I don’t even see what the point is in shading her like that in the manga if her blue skin tone is so light??? like. it was completely misleading

I thought it looked unique and it fit the tone of the game https://t.co/YfXZHjgO0D

I still have Art Block (TM), so I haven't actually *drawn* this character yet,,, but! I wanted to really push my skin tone tests by coloring a Picrew (The same one I always color, Its just lineart so its easy) of a cute character from a webcomic I love!

Rapunzel has this long, golden hair for the sake of the story. In other adaptation (Barbie, etc) Rapunzel is usually portrayed in purple-pink tone, so maybe there's a reason for that. But we already have so many blonde princess with similiar color tone.
