Today I worked on a companion to the painting/journaling that I posted last night. Then I found a box of supplies that I haven’t looked at in a while. There was some black gesso so I painted a small board with it, then started layering colors. Have no idea where it’s going.

I’m frustrated with my style but I also do not know what I want my style to be. I want to make beautiful characters. I want to draw serious, diverse characters. I want to be sketchy when I draw but I like my bold lines and colors. I want all earth tones w/o giving up pastels.
