While the artstyle on the left side is more 'visually nice', it'll definitely take ages to progress the story. The artstyle on the right side may not be the prettiest, but I want the story to progress a little bit faster.

To clarify, I'm not against the point made. I definitely think it would be super cool to see a Mario game emulate a 2D artstyle in 3D.

I think a Mario & Luigi game could do that really well, and Battle League even did it to an extent.

You referenced, transforming something into a new thing. In Omnia's case though, they are line by line tracing to the point where they are basically copying the artstyle. I think the thing about their PFP is stupid. Like that's such a simple thing to draw, why trace?
