I finished 'Hardcore Mecha' recently and I really liked the visual contrasts between Tarethur (protagonist), Vulphaes (rival), and their mechs. Tarethur's cold and professional while Vulphaes is hotblooded and noble.

honestly they should've found a way to fit meiling into the manga, she is annoying at first but totally contrasts with like, every other character, even later on when she starts to get along with sakura (which is also super cute) and I really like her

I've worked on another painting today in oil. Direct observation of the sunflower and gereberas. The main reason I painted this still life was the contrast of the sunflower.

I attached photo's of the flowers in the vase & my initial drawing in charcoal on the stained board.

I love looking at Shinkiro's Ryu here, then his Ryu in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom. His lines and the contrast just look so nice in the TVC Art. It's like he dipped more toward the anime aesthetic, while keeping his more realistic style.
