it depends on the kind of character you're making, but generally i keep it simple. tho i like having hair overlap with itself or parts of the character's body to give it a sense of depth even when in reality the shapes and design are very simple

Prism finally given some sorta finished artwork from me. It's just flats but still, I love them lots. I love their scarf claw things even if I mainly just give them the simplified scarf tails for regular drawings. Just a bit hard for me to balance them out, visually, I guess.
