You're in luck! They're actually making a live action/CGI Tom and Jerry movie that they plan to release this December.

It will be in the vein of films like Roger Rabbit and Space Jam with stylized animation that will give the characters a "vintage 2D look".

oh yeah I'm of the mindset that stylized visuals have a better longevity in a game's lifespan. Heavy use of realism will just bite a game in the ass.

I use Mega Man Legends as an example always because the game still looks amazing and it came out in 1997
