A faithfully restored HD character portrait from the Switch version versus the HD Remix version on other consoles. I'm a huge fan of the late 80s/early 90s character art. I did not appreciate the *modernized* takes at all. They're so inauthentic.

My first style of drawing was created in the late 80s. The cartoonist I was totally in awe of wasn’t a comic book artist but a commercial illustrator - Graham Thompson. Mainly because the advertising agency I worked in were too tight to pay him. They loved my humour though!

Kind of in love with Stephen Cartwright's art in particular lately. Very sweet and almost unmistakably from the late 80s / early 90s. The warm colors, the chunky shapes, the thick confident one-stroke cloth folds, oh man. It's like an illustration equivalent of a cozy blanket.
