@gibsonagogo When we designed her for our “Legacies of the DCAU” webcomic, we went with the idea that the planet from “Absolute Power” is the DCAU’s Tamaran or equivalent.
I can certainly see and get on board with the influences of Murnau’s “Nosferatu”, Cocteau’s “La Belle et la Bete” and the work of Gustave Dore (see my prior tweet for my ramblings/video on his illustrations) that encapsulate the ‘adult’ fairytale tone and texture.

Gustave Moreau’s Hercules and the Lernaean Hydra, 1876, for #SwampSunday Killed by Hercules as his second labour. The hydra lived in the Lake of Lerna which was also an entrance to the underworld.
