Spent most of the day trying to stat a 5e Argos and lemme tell ya someone making Spelljammer was trying VERY hard to one-up the Beholder. fly, climb, 1d10 random effects/rd on a d20 table, 1d3 mouths on each limb, central eye spells, and engulfs on crit.

This my very first and only D&D character i made. The only cool thing she ever made, was saving the team from enter in a room full of soldiers and a big badass beholder. (we were saved later, after one of the team choose to "go to bed" with the master of the monster.)
