Imo Ceruledge super closely relates to Marshadow in design, since they both have ethereal effect ghost eyes and have a glowing primary color with a ghostly black inner body.
Only boring ppl will see 1 commonality, which is the idea. Swordsman. And think it looks like Bisharp imo.

Yuri is my little beach bisharp lady. She loves to garden and bake pies and live a peaceful life without needless drama.

She has a large pet bird, a baby and a live in boyfriend. Yuri isn't afraid to fight someone despite her smallness and might be mean if prompted to be.

That's a good option! in fact I thought in bisharp as an option too, but considering Ronin has more of a Japanese origin than a "knight" one, I gave him scizor, plus scizor head resembles a bit of the Ronin helmet (that has some copper/ insect resemblance)
