Alfredo Alcala was born OTD in 1925. He was already acclaimed in his native Philippines when he started doing horror tales for DC - a specialty his entire career - and eventually added lush inks over John Buscema's Conan. His comics work ended in 1996 and he died in 2000.

Character 00 - Ronan the Barbarian :) I wanted to make a funny version of Conan.
Pretty basic pose, but I like the perspective that the sword, gears and blur is giving to the piece. I should probably play with a few poses and ink it now!
