I finished watching Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was a journey of a anime that I actually somewhat related to a bit more with me and hit home in some cases.

But man this anime is unreal. So glad I got to finally watch it!

Something that I find hilarious is that when I showed someone my character, he asked me if Samantha was supposed to be Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion. (I said no, since I never used Asuka as an inspiration)

Watched all of classic Evangelion, Death & Rebirth, and End of Evangelion.

Memorable character storytelling despite the inflated and complicated plot/symbolism. Horrific yet interesting robot/kaiju elements. Beautifully animated sequences.

Solid 8/10 for me.
