I always just felt we saw the characters kinda grow in regular show even when it was mostly episodic. Rigby getting his diploma, Mordechai learning from his relationship mess ups, even benson getting closer to people in the park. Even when they messed up it felt kinda realistic

Picked up Asura’s Wrath again. With its simple gameplay, episodic nature, and heavy focus on dynamic action cinematics, it really does feel like somebody wanted to make an anime but was forced to turn it into a game. (It even has an onsen episode)
