Capcom did something here that I've been hoping to see again since the Alpha/Zero games--they allowed this normal to actually not only look as cool as its 2-D predecessor but also gave it a hitbox that allows the normal to have it's purpose as a great poke!

Never forget Devoured by darkness being unblockable while in OD, 2D being quite disjointed and fast while opening for a combo, carnage scissors hitbox and his DP looking like a piece of religious scripture. He fair, but man does he have knoledge checks.
