this is not to say that World/Iceborne didn’t have great designs either. It’s just I feel that a lot of the early/mid game fights felt just “ok” to me (especially Jag, Girros and Dodo). Even Tobi, Pukei and Kulu, as fun as they are, just aren’t as cool to me as Rise’s early mons

I should be more excited for Furious Rajang's return in (I really loved it in Iceborne), but after Rise's Rajang, I just don't know. It definitely looks incredibly powerful in that intro.

Today in "things no one asked for": The tail design for my sona was inspired by the Viper Tobi-Kadachi charge blade from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne! I used it in a lot of early MR & love the fluffy brownish-amber of the design with flares of golden orange.
