Just saw a spicebush swallowtail, & it jarred me enough to realize I hadn't seen any swallowtails the last couple of weeks, kind of a bummer & kind of beautiful, both. Also, here's a painting I made (width about 6') in the mid eighties. The one thing does kinda lead to the next.
