George Wilson cover art for Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery (1973).In one story a driver picks up a hitchhiker one night. Blind to danger, he drives recklessly, and ends up in a swamp. That’s where daddy’s little pet lives: a yeti.

Day 3 is KNIFEHEAD, a pretty sick Kaiju from Pacific Rim. Another rough speed paint but I dig it. Sorry, no Karloff from day 2!

👁️THE MUMMY👁️

The hypnotic Boris Karloff and some incredible makeup by Jack Pierce were my favourite parts of this, so wanted to pay tribute to those!

Here are the inks for the cover of my Midnight Midnight story Last Words.

Half of the story takes place at a drive-in theater. So I wanted to play off the marquee idea with Count Karloff coming out of a movie poster frame.

On the subject of big green Frankenstein Monster heads, I've been fortunate to do two projects blessed with Graham Humphreys variations: the 2016 anthology play THE GHOST TRAIN DOESN'T STOP HERE ANYMORE (Karloffian) and the 2018 feature film FRANKENSTEIN'S CREATURE (Swantonian).
