Decided to take another honest shot at Krita, and to be honest... This was agony! Took me about 3 hours to figure out half the basic shit I needed to do this and it feels like it fights me every step of the way. I'll gladly pay for photoshop for the rest of my life, thank you.

Messed around a bit with Krita's RGBA brushes. Brought back fond memories from when I painted with acrylics.
Be sure to install the Pigment O plugin by Eyeodin for more granular colour control if you plan on trying out Krita, especially if you are coming from Photoshop.
