His birthday art was actually supposed to be this one. I think some of you may have seen me painting on it during Wonfest Bangkok lol.
Ditched it in favor of new sketch cuz I have no idea what half of the things I was looking at are before his latest official detailed art was out

Near the start of 2023 I committed to improving, but a good amount of the year I was getting busy with other things like school and other work, leaving me with about the 6 months I put into making stuff and just getting better.
Even with that, I think I got a lot better lol.

I love how kaneko's art could still have solid line art for details, and airbrush shading but it doesn't look muddy or flat in the slightest

usually some advice(?) tells you to ditch the solid lineart if you want 3d look but not this one lol.

With just a few days left of 2023 I think is safe to start wrapping things up.

Overall I'm pretty happy with my progress this year, compared to previous years' summaries, this one looks like all pieces were made by the same artist lol.
