Just sharing just in case anyone wants to listen to this, but I've learned through experimentation mostly that if you do a red glow on add/highlight/luminosity layer, it really makes the skin reflect like it would irl and I am actually loving it.

personally i prefer to just do skin and other stuff with one layer (like this one) since it looks more natural but for a sunlight glow a luminosity/overlay layer does really make a big difference
