Mehmed II (1432-1481)
Nicknamed "The Conqueror" was an Ottoman sultan who ruled from 1444 -1446, and then 1451-1481. He defeated several crusaders. He strengthened the Ottoman navy, At the age of 21, he conquered Constantinople bringing an end to the Byzantine Empire
Skanderbeg (1405-1468)
Born as Gjergj Kastrioti, he was the Lord of Albania from 1443 until his death
He ranks high in the military history of that time as the most persistent—and ever-victorious—opponent of the Ottoman Empire in its heyday.
