Welsh folklore says Pembrokeshire Corgis, (beloved dogs of Queen Elizabeth II) are gifts sent by fairies, who used them to drove their livestock, ride as ponies, pull their carriages, & of course, as playful, loyal, charming companions.

The colours of the landscape change as areas are either cast in shadow or the sunlight turns the fields a kind of pale but luminous acid yellow. Love that! 💚⛅️💛

Hello, lovely people. I felt like a making a little seaside watercolour today.
This is Pwllgwaelod beach in Pembrokeshire.
I think that being at the coast today would be super lovely.
I hope that you are having a brilliant afternoon.

I hope you're having a super fabulous Saturday, lovely people.
I felt like painting a coastal scene. This is Cym Yr Eglwys beach, Pembrokeshire.
I popped one or two dogs into the picture, too (you may need to zoom in a bit).

Beautiful Pentre Ifan. Stones I know personally. Near the Preseli Hills, source of the famous Pembrokeshire ‘bluestones’ that went into the making of Stonehenge as well as Pentre Ifan itself. And location for tales of draenog that aren’t really draenog at all..

While the physical isolation continues, my mind wanders to South Wales... a favourite destination from last year. “Coast at Pembrokeshire”, 61X61cm, oil on board.

11” x 8” watercolour of Fishguard Bay in Pembrokeshire. Not sure about this as I think there’s too much rock and not enough sea but it’s good to post your failures too I think.
