Been in my sketchbook more lately, it seems to connect me to that innerchild that had a dollar store sketchbook, mechanical pencil, and a whole lot of imagination. For these I used stabilo fine liners and prismacolour pencil crayons!

I did my ‘usual’ process: blocking in with a watercolor brush, quickly sketching with a pencil, detailing facial features, painting with mid tones, then overpainting. Lots of trying different colours because I wasn’t sure what I wanted

I found one of the pens on Krita moves like the pencil, but is thicker so you can still fill in shapes, so I can actually get the sketches look down, and color it without inking over it again, which I greatly appreciate.
