Throwing my hat into the ring
This is RAR.rar. They're an invasive set of files that downloads itself to random laptops to mess with players. They use the appearances of Sonic characters. They can also copy others forms if they they have touched them. It's not an exact copy tho.

I could’ve done a lot better presentation wise but:

Most of these are EXE victims aside from Sally.RAR (who is a virus hidden under a bad Sally skin) and Rose (who is a victim who’s stuck forever watching her friends die.)
