Another of ERB’s lost worlds is Pal-ul-don, a hidden African valley that is home to a number of dinosaurs & tailed people. The valley’s most interesting denizen might be the gryf, an omnivorous sauropod-sized ceratopsian with stegosaur-like plates and claws.
#Paleoart of the new basal sauropodomorph, Mbiresaurus raathi! I've been on a real early dinosauria kick lately so the timing of this paper was perfect, what a lovely little guy!! I'm super excited to see what else comes out from this new Zimbabwean faunal assemblage!
@kemkemenjoyer17 Short-necked sauropods. Though this happened the same year.
Came recently in touch with the paleoart of Davide Bonadonna´s Morrison Sauropods.
Call me old fashioned, but i just love my sauropods just as ''default'' dinosaurs with a nice color pattern.
@j_stocky They are always arguing about why whales/sauropods are better... but are friends anyway

Venatosaurus. The weird, spindly armed, naked raptor with crocodile-eye placement and mammalian skeletal structure, all for specializing in sauropod predation.
It only took me (checks calendar) Two months, but I finished my Delphox-Opisthecoalicaudia (sauropod) hybrid. I also gave her stats. Any name suggestions? Also I am looking for advice to emulate the pokemon style if possible.

Immense size of sauropodomorph dinosaurs necessitated soft tissue pads to reduce the stress within pedal bones.

Sauropods are scary, especially when they have lightning powers.
Another #WIP of the dreadnoughtus monster.

@FrederrickArt The campers believe all herbivores are harmless until eldritch abomination sauropod arrives
Now our sauropod can sneeze lightning to zap predators or make same species rivals blow up in spectacular fashion by hitting their ventral cavity (cause of all the fermentation gas!). This is why sauropod fossils are so often scattered little bits. I just solved sauropods, see?
"HE Baconsaunters Male and Female, are one of the largest non sauropod herbivores of the HE prairie, they feed on a wide range of plants mostly trees, ferns and grass, Males have colorful feathers that fold up to either intimidate enemies or attract females."

And and #Eodromaeus to go with it, two dinosaurs that illustrate how similar the earliest theropods and sauropodomorphs were. So much so that they've both flip-flopped all around in different positions in the saurischia family tree!
Received an ask on Tumblr about what the common ancestor of sauropods and theropods was, so here's a quick #Eoraptor sketch to illustrate the likely appearance of Saurischia Early Alpha Release
