Everyone's favourite armoured farmer - now in Roguelite form! You dig, you die, repeat. There's beauty in the grind. If you want an easier time, hit up the accessibility options and give yourself a bit of extra health.

Worth the wait.

Another mini-series, this time focusing on Starline and a motley crew of villains. There's plenty of cool and engaging stuff in this one, including a surprising amount of love for Sonic Heroes.

This mini-series is way more substantial than the annuals, so I'm including it as its own thing. Taking place during the Metal Virus Saga, it establishes the duo's friendship and reveals Whisper's backstory.

Love these guys.

Sonic the Hedgehog IDW (Neo Metal Sonic Saga)

Ian Flynn picked up from where Forces left off and hasn't really looked back since. Combined with great art from Tracey Yardley etc., Sonic's first IDW adventure is a real winner.

Well written and fun to read.

This "episode" (4 vol.) really made me realize why the game was so long. It was a bit overwhelming with how much is packed into each volume! The latter manga formula of 6 vol. per "episode" would have been better!
