I just realized that the bluegreen-ish scarf that's taped around Seth's left bicep was likely the scar that Valbar inflicted in the prologue of sacred stones

Seth's mother anxieties
I noticed that Seth has mentioned his mother a few times in the series. Too many times to be a coincidence. And it's usually in a wistful manner with longing in his voice. +

Eng ver//
Seth is slowly putting the pieces together in his head. I believe someone (probably Osiris as he did with Anubis) has meddled with Seth's ascension. I don't believe he could have done this entirely covert when he was still 'living' either. (1/2)

You can't convince me that Seth's ascension wasn't forced. He has no idea what it means to become a god. Nothing but red flags for me⛳️⛳️⛳️

Gonna continue here saying that I believe this is also the reason Seth beat the hell out of Anubis in the first chapters, it was basically Seth's biggest fear coming true, Anubis directly rejected him and conspired against him. But Seth didn't leave him much choice now did he?

2 64

Which might make him reject Seth and leave him. And that was Seth's biggest fear, it would prove to him that everything Osiris said was true. But it's not, Horus is going to prove him he can be loved unconditionally for who he is, not because of how strong he is. (25/25)

Seth's turning point is definitely what happened at Kemis. It is no coincidence that this is where the story begins. That day, after Seth killed all those young boys he got so high and drunk to the point his mind melted away, he took off his big mask for the very first time.

2 74

There is no doubt that Seth's bond with Anubis is causing him a great deal of pain, and it may be better for Seth let go of that bond because it seems hopeless at this point, but Anubis' heart aching is glimpse of hope that he IS capable of remembering something.

Seth was always a free spirited man, so things such as power and influence weren't always something he cared about, or felt he lacked. But if Osiris brings Seth's family into it, convincing him that this is the reason Nephthys betrayed him, he would eat it up.

I really love the direction the story is going in, one of Seth's best qualities is how much of a family person he is, he was truly born to be a father. Deep inside he still has that parental instinct, and the latest chapters really emphasize this (1/?)

Got to this chapter in my S1 re-read and now I'm wondering if this was a small hint at Seth's potentially meddled-with ascension? They do refer to it as being reborn quite often. However, in the myth Seth literally was born that way, so it could just refer to that. Hmm.🤔

ENNEAD spoilers//

I'm so happy to see the kid from the start of S2 again! It's good to know that he's still as unfazed with Seth's yelling as he was all those chapters ago ;')

Seth's resemblance to Anubis after he gets black hair makes me really happy :') They are father and son no matter what and it shows!

Hanekate changes Seth's hair and eye color as requested, but Seth feels guilty for her and reveals his identity, I guess he does it for her to get back at him. The old lady makes me sad😔🤧
Seth you are an asshole 🤦‍♀️

i love you💖

A bit late since I've been busying myself in a few projects, but better late than never. In regards to Horus' anger in the most recent chapter, I said it wasn't just due to Seth's recklessness. It's also likely that Horus had other feelings on the matter. +
