A friend made me a fursona over 5 years ago. It was an alien-like girl that was into UFOs and stuff.

It took me this long to be willing to use it due to low self-esteem, but I modified the design slightly.

As an artist with low self-esteem, drawing myself nicely is hard. But I saw a challenge to do a simple sketch of yourself, and make yourself look good. I never include myself in my art, so this was oddly refreshing, and gave me a little confidence boost today.
